For one, I'm glad it's Friday. Though I'm not in a normal work week. My work continues seven days a week, cuz I'm a stay at home mommy. But Brooky stayed the night with Aunt Gigi, who loves her to bits-n-pieces. To those of you gasping in shock that I've let my baby stay the night elsewhere besides home, RELAX. She is in great hands. You also become little more lax with the second child. lol I was thankful for an almost uninterrupted night of sleep last night.
Did you feel the earth shake? Yes peeps, we had an earthquake from what I've heard. It was a 5.1 on the rictor (that how you spell it? If not, sorry.) scale. I woke up this morning saying "Ray, why is the house shaking?" I watched the house move, my mirror from my dresser bang against the wall over and over again. Ray on the other hand, did not answer from his slumber to answer my question. So I sat there and when it stopped, I laid back down and went back to sleep. Only to be awakened later on by Ray's phone ringing. I hate phones in the morning, or at nap time. Needless to say, my morning of sleeping in didn't happen. Logan slept in though. His two year molars are coming in. Poor guy chews on his fingers and is a little grumpy. He also wants to sleep which I remember that from when he first started teething. I wonder how long it takes for those big teeth to come in.
Today I started my diet pill. I lost right around sixty pounds when I was on it before for a month 1/2. It curves my appetite, which is a good thing. Makes you thirsty, so I drink lots of water, and helps ya drop the pounds. I want to loose fourty pounds more and I think I will be in great shape then.
Update on the milk!!! It's really not coming back in. It takes like ten hours for me to get filled up, and even then I'm pumping like four ounces total. Maybe five. So little Brooky is on formula, and using all the milk I had in the fridge pre-pumped from my milk factory days. (like what two weeks ago I was over-flowing) I'm in lots of pain, called the doc and that sweet little pill they USED to give you when you wanted your milk to dry up, well it's off the market. I said What? I was very sad. The nice nurse did advise me though to get some cabbage leaves. Run them under cold water and lay them...you know where. Anyways, she said it will help with the knots, and swelling, and will draw the milk out some too. I thought of just trying a cold rag on each and see if that helps first before I got to cabbage patch land. (ha ha that's funny) I can't remember how long before it completely dried up with Logan. I had brought it back like 3 times before I fully put him on formula, and that was a painful process. Decided not to put myself through that again. I know, I know, breast milk is best for baby. But I also remember the doctor saying that any amount she gets from b milk will be great. It's ok to put them on formula too. So...that's what I'm doing. I'm not a bad mommy.
It's lawn mowing time. The tire on the riding lawn mower went flat last yr in the middle of me mowing. Yes I finished mowing even though it was flat. So the hubs when to get it fixed, but all the places were closed. He called me today asking me to take the tire to get it fixed. I thought for sure it would need more then air. (what do I know about such things though) I went to tire discounters (where he told me to go). Walked in holding the tire and the guy says, "need air?" I'm like uh I don't know, I guess that's all it needs. And it was. Thank goodness. I didn't owe him anything either. He said "nope, air is free." I thought that was funny. I felt like I totally accomplished something. Silly I guess, but hey I'm still proud.
I also took Logo to mall today. Tried to get into a couple of shops, but he wasn't having it. Just like a male. He knows that the mall is where the play land is at. We went there and he played for over an hour. Oh and to that mom who would not stop her girl from pushing Logan and hitting him and the other kids as well. Even though the big sister kept telling you she was doing those things...You need to discipline your kid. A spoon helps keep mine in line. You can borrow it anytime. Other than that, it was a good time. We ate there, well he mostly did. I snacked on my salad. Wasn't that great. Then headed to Old Navy...love that place. There is so much stuff there to buy....sales going on...check em out.
Other than that...nothing much went on. I'm doing some house cleaning...and then heading out when hubs gets home to get Brooky. Hope everyone has a great weekend...even though it's supposed to rain most of the entire weekend.
