Meet Brooklynn Lauren

Our sweet little baby girl has arrived.

I finally got my epidural at noon sometime and I was 6-7 cent. My contractions were 1-2 mins apart at this point and I was in serious pain. I mean SERIOUS pain.

But it was all worth it. Out of all the babies, and there were allot, that were born yesterday, Brooklynn and I were the only ones who got to go home today. In the hospital for 24 hours was nice. Though I'm hurting and have only Ibuprofen to take b/c doc said he would write scripts and didn't. Now I have to wait until office calls it in tomorrow. Oh the agony. No joke. An intern did my epi, and well, he was nice and all, but tended to dig to find the right spot to where the epi was supposed to go. B/c of that, I now have major back swelling, bruising starting, and pain. But all will be well tomorrow.

Little Brooklynn, who wasn't as little as we thought she would be, is just plain wonderful. Beautiful beyond words. Now that I'm home I hope to get sleep in. She and Ray slept just fine last night. Not me. So since Monday night I've had about 4 hours in. But that's ok. Well I hear her starting to fuss, it's feeding time and then heading to bed.
