It's been a week since I last posted

.....and what a week it was.

So I will say, that I'm missing sleep. It's hard having a two year old who only naps once a day, and a newborn, who sleeps whenever.
Though I've done pretty well I would like to think. I'm the type of person who needs her sleep. Ask my mother.
Brooky, is still sweet as ever and cute as ever. Today was her two week check up. She has gained almost all her birth weight back. She was 8 pounds 2 ounces today. So only four half ounces left to go. Have another doc visit next week to be sure she has gained it by then. Doctor said she looked great. (of course she does...i mean look at the mommy!)
Speaking of weight....I had gained like 37 pounds with Brooky. I thought it was fourty, but I just did the math via calculator...and came up with 37. In the two weeks since she has been born I've lost 24 pounds. So I have 13 pounds left to go till I'm back at the weight I was to begin with. Though I would like to loose another 25-30 pounds more. It's hard! My shape...yes it's changed. My belly is still got a bump and it's hard. Guess my uterus hasn't decided to go down all the way yet. I know I shouldn't stress over the weight b/c I've done really well so far ya know. But I'm a woman, and I've always stressed over my weight. Even when I was a hundred and ten pounds. Which by the way, did not look good on me. My hubby seen pics and said if I got down that skinny he would force feed me. lol Like he would have to do that! Oh I found chocolate cheesecake bites at the store. They're frozen ones by Sara Lee...they are yummy. NO JOKE. I've eaten four bites today. But that's all.

I've been like a milk machine with feeding and pumping. But b/c I started pumping more then putting lil Brooky on, my milk cut in half. Her pedi today told me the brain knows the difference b/t the pump and the baby. Said to put her on every time, or as much as poss. Then pump afterwards. Well I can tell you, I did that starting this afternoon, after I got home from her visit this morning. I've noticed a difference already with how my milk drops in. (cuz i feel it) Also Brooky is starting to mix her nights up with days. She starts sleeping pretty heavy around 4 and then gets up around 9 or 10 to eat and wants to be up till one or so. Doc said to expose her to light, like going outside and then when I want to put her down, be sure it's dark. It worked! I went outside with Logan today. He loves it out there. And it was sunny. Brook was up from five till 9:30 when I put her down. She is sleeping soundly, has a full tummy, and clean diaper. Hoping tonight is full of sleep.

Logan loves his sissy as he says. He says Brooky, but not as good as sissy. Now though he wants to pack her around like a baby doll. He doesn't understand he can't do that, or force the bottle into her mouth. Baby steps....he's only almost two.

I am also happy to say, we did our taxes the other day. The damage wasn't as bad as we expected it to be. Next year should be even better, two kids to claim, and myself he can claim too. Since I'm blessed enough to be a stay at home mommy. I'm glad it's over with. Though I have to say...I haven't started filing for this years stuff yet...and it's already the middle of April. It will take me hours to do it. I'm just tooooo tired and lazy. Well since the kids are down, I'm going down too. Got to sleep as much as possible. I still love being a mommy. Even if it is hard.
