It seems I always have so much to do.
Luckily Im a stay at home mama so I can choose my schedule.
As you can see from my last post, Ive been busy, cuz I haven't posted in a month!
So here are all the things Ive been up to since you last heard from me.
*brooky crawls everywhere and dances (bouncing all crazy like), claps and sings in the car or at church.
Her and Logan fight...and that in itself takes up quite a bit of the day! Im always the ref between them. She discovered she can scream...and Logan discovered how to make her mad.
She is almost 1! will be the 1st of april. Already...see how time flys.
*Ive taken away her formula for the past week and have had her on whole milk, which makes it hard for her to go num 2. Ive had to make her drink juice, cuz she would rather have a bottle then a sippy cup. Ive been using Karo syrup when I need it.
She eats like you wouldn't believe...well actually she is really big. I find out on the 6th exactly how big she is. Im guessing at least 28 pounds!
She pulled my shoulder muscles and neck muscles out and cramped b/c Im carrying her. She isn't walking yet and I think it's b/c the cast put her behind. Don't get me wrong, she will walk with ur fingers in her hand, and she will walk along the couch and chairs pretty quickly.
*Logan...well he is almost 3! June 19th is around the corner. It's hard to believe my baby boy is a full grown toddler lol.
He talks great...and picks up sayings all the time. I told my husband to be careful what he says around him. His knew thing to say is "Im mad at you." Im not sure where he got that from...prob one of the church kids.
He is potty trained ya'll!!!!! What a relief. He did stay the night with a boy from church the other night and had 4 accidents! I don't know if he didn't feel comfortable to go to the potty there or what. I don't understand, but as soon as he came home he went potty no prob and hasn't had an accident since. Its been a few weeks now...and those were his only probs and he was away from home. There was one wet night b/c I found out Ray gave him a refill on his juice when we had went out to eat. I have taken away his cup and that really bothers him b/c he loves to drink. He takes brooks cup anytime he can. Sneaks drinks from our cups...lol he is funny.
*Ive had alot of book work and paperwork that I've been having to do. Plus preparing all of my tax books b/c we haven't filed our taxes yet either. Im hoping we don't have to pay in, or at least not have to pay in much this year. we will see.
We are having an easter drama this year and a sis from church and myself have been teaching all the songs that go in the play. all six! Its all coming together nicely though. Good thing too b/c we don't have much longer till easter.
I got a new phone! Only b/c Ray dropped his phone in the toilet while taking Logan potty. lol.
I got a blackberry curve and Ray took my LG rumor that I had for a year. I LOVE my phone. It's got so much stuff on it that you can do. I can get Ray's business emails sent right to me like a text mess and Im just telling you, it's awesome. It's also helped me to stay on facebook more then i should lol b/c it has the application and Its easy to use on my phone. I love it i tell ya!
Well Im another year older! ray says im almost 30 even tho im just 26. But he has no room to talk bc he is 38 lol
well that about does it. Ya'll have a good one!

If you're happy and you know it...
Clap your hands!
Remember that Sunday school song?
Well I have decided even when things are bothering me to say that and clap my hands right where I'm standing.
I got sick and tired of being aggravated or moody or just getting upset over the littlest things. I've decided to be happy no matter what situation I'm in. To Thank God fully for what he has given me. I know that as a 'christian' Or an Apostolic woman I should be a light and lead by example. But don't get me wrong we all have our faults. Since I've made my mind up to have the happy mindset no matter what goes wrong, I've been HAPPY!
lol
I know it might sound sort of silly. But to me it's working. I'm having more patience with my husband and my son who always seemed to aggravate me. Logan, once he hit two seemed to grow an attitude and a very mouthy mouth. My husband...I think he just likes to aggravate me. Maybe that is his way of showing love Ha ha ha! I'm crackin' myself up! Anywhoo, I realized while Im driving down the road, and my son is screaming and crying and tellin' me what to do and me screaming back at him not to scream at me, It is NOT solving the problem. Lord have mercy Im teaching him to scream.
Things have quieted down and my ears are grateful.
My hubby is happy that Im happy and happy that I tell him Im happy.
On the way to church last night Logan said "mama! Im happy!" I said "really? that is great" He said "Yep"
I want to instill in my kids that it's ok to get upset, but to know that truly God has all things in control. By us loosing our temper and trying to handle things ourselves and having a bad attitude and just gettin aggravated we are tying God's hands.
For example.
I want my husband to live for God and be in church with me. I know that God has given me a promise it will come to past. But by me being ill tempered and short with him and not really showing Gods love. He will wonder what is the difference b/t me and anyone else and there should be a difference. Of course he is going to do things I don't like. Drinking, going to parties...just to name a couple. But still that is the way he has always been. He still loves me and the kids. God has to win him over.
Im determined to be a godly woman of God. A woman who shows love and compassion and kindness. A woman who is known for lending an ear, a shoulder to cry on, and a heart to love. I want to show Gods love and light. I want to be and Im going to be these things.

Snow, cold weather, PLEASE, Go away!
Ya I said it! Im ready for all this yuckiness to disappear (in Jesus name) lol
No joke, the ten inches, plus some was pretty for a very short time. The four inches of ice that came on top and in between the snow...was not welcomed!
I defrogged my car last night. (no frogs were hurt during the process...just melted me some ice and snow) It was a slow process.
Church was cancelled last night, was not happy about that. But hey we had yet some more snow that came our way, and lower temps so it froze everything even more.
I've been locked in the house for DAYS! Help me!!! lol No seriously...
Ray even stayed home two days, and he doesn't do that. Lets just say I got nothing done around the house but cooking three times a day.
We had sun today, but temps are soooo cold! Oh well spring is a few weeks away...like 8 or something? 7 maybe? then it will be rain rain rain and more rain.
well ive got to make breakfast for the kids and myself.Have I mentioned lately that brooky will eat anything!
Everything else, besides the weather, is super duper!

Im thrilled!
Logan did number 2 in the potty.
I was holding brook making her a bottle and told him to sit on potty till I got back, and Well he went num 2 and num 1 and then hollared and told me. I ran in there and seen sure enough he did.
(I was worried it might have been on the floor lol)
I allowed him to empty his pot into the toilet, which is a big deal and He got to also flush the toilet. Im very happy.
He today has only had one accident and that was when he was with his maw maw (rays mom) and he didn't want to quit playin at the mall play area.
Here is a pic of Logan bending over his potty sayin' "Eww mama I poopy in the potty Ewwww" lol

Potty training!
Well Its time. Past time really to start potty training Logan.
I did some research via the wonderful web, and came upon this site of a woman that had potty trained over 300 children.
She had a book you could download for seven dollars and it dealt with lots of issues you can have on potty training.
Basically you use the same words...were using pee-pee and poopy b/c that is what he says when he goes in his diapers.
I got him up this morning. Told him excitedly that he gets to wear his 'big boy' panties he says lol and no diapers.
I took him to the potty and he sat there.
Sometimes it is hard to keep the child interested, especially if they were watching a cartoon and wanting to get back to it. So I got him a book and that helped keep him on the potty a little longer.
Im cutting down on his liquids b/c the kids can drink.
Im taking him to the potty every 20-30 mins.
So far we have only had one accident in little over an hour.
If you keep up within 3 days your child should be pretty much potty trained.
One thing the book said is that you need to set the time out and concentrate solely on potty training your child. Make it fun, but be consistent.
Will let ya know how it goes. Im lookin' for signs that he has to go to the potty. and the first time he goes on the potty, he won't know what to think cuz I'm going to make such a big deal about it.
Oh and it did say it's better to make the boys sit down on potty to train them. It's easier. When they have better control then you can start teaching them to stand up to go pee-pee.
Well it's time for a potty break.

A new year...a new post!
Yes, I've been awful at keeping up with blogging as of late.
Alot has been going on.
The church Christmas play and all that was involved with that.
Church services.
Christmas and all that goes with that.
Sickness...a major virus that had me down for the count for a week.
No joke it was awful. Included a 105 fever, throwing up...running to the bathroom multiple times...get the pic...it was bad!
Oh and a trip to the ER b/c I was so dehydrated had to get some fluids pumped in me b/c I couldn't hold any down.I missed Sunday night service, to which i was very upset. I heard it was great.
We had a watch night service Wed night to bring in the new year. It really is an awesome way to bring the year in. Foot washing, some preaching/teaching, communion. The kids (my kids too) took communion. It was so sweet. God is so good ya'll.
After that service we went to a 24 hour place to grab something to eat. I just ate a few french fries b/c I was still pretty sick.
Hubby was at a party and staying the night there. I got Logan to bed at four and brooky was up all night sick. Either she was too full (very poss b/c she can eat) or the soup I had given her didn't agree with her belly. So I was up all night, up all the next day except for a small, very small, nap I took while ray let the kids scream and hollar, or in his words, watching the kids for me so I could rest. Ha!
We had church last night and I had very little sleep and still wasn't feeling well at all. I got the kids ready for church though and we went.
I love going to church and hearing the word preached and just having church.
B/c I went and didn't feel like it, God touched my body! I was even able to eat pizza afterwards with NO problems. I haven't been sick or anything. I didn't sit down from the praise team, I didn't sit in my pew and not worship. I sang with all I could, and praised with all I could. God honored that and I'm SO THANKFUL. I was told by the doctors that I could be sick for another five days lol. Not something I was lookin' forward to.
Christmas this year was mostly about the kids. They enjoyed it very much. My hubby got me a pretty special camera. I'm still reading the book on it. It takes awesome pics and the zoom is 18x. amazing!
Well I hope your holiday season was great.
