Mom has flown the coup

Yes that's right, my mother has hopped, or should I say walked, on her plane and is in the process of flying back to way far away California.
Our visit was great, and much too short.
I believe she was as glad to be here as myself, and some others, were glad to have her here.

Her and Logan became fast buds, except when he would get upset and she became the granny that tells him to be good and smacks her hand to get the point across. ;)
I took some pretty good pics. Once I download will put up here. But only after I email them to mom first, right mom? lol

ok...i believe logan is down for his nap, and I'm sorry, I'm going down too. Didnt sleep much last night and would like to catch up on some very much missed sleep while i have the chance.

One more thing.....
vacation!! is!! only!! 3!! days!! away!! (yep i stole the exclamations from her lizness lol) It's also the day her lizness becomes a MRS. again. Congrats sister. Wishing you the very very best.

weekend...

I didn't post all weekend b/c I was busy....
Are you tired of hearing that yet?

But I truly was. My mom is in from CA and was spending time with her, and also had church
this weekend.
Which btw was awesome.

I've done alot this morning.
and now its 11:30 so I need to stop posting and get to showering and finishing cleaning.
Just wanted to say...I was busy this weekend, but it was an awesome weekend.

Mom goes home tomorrow. She has to be at the airport at 4 am b/c her flight leaves at 6. Plus she has to drive to Louisville airport which is about 2 hours from my house. So she will leave EARLY in the morning. Can't believe she has been here for 8 days already.

So finally I post pics of my son!

My son, Raymond Logan M. is just a joy to have. He will be 1 as of june 19th and I can't believe it! This year has truly gone past so very fast.

He is now taking steps but for the most part would rather crawl. The most he has taken is 5 steps and that was last night.

Here he is at the top of the steps at his gate and toy box area. Now he loves to stand there and throw as many toys as possible down the steps.

Here is the end result! It's an everyday occurance. I am picking up the toys many times a day. Now I can hear you say why don't you move the toy box away from the gated steps?

I have done that, and he just gets as many as he can out of the toy box. Puts them on the floor and crawls over to the gate and throws them over one-by-one.

LOL I love being a mama!

Shoes!

So I had to post a pic of my new shoes as of late.

I have bought five pairs of shoes and did not even realize it...think I have a problem? LOL

Ok so the polka-dot flip flops are from the dollar store. $4

I had to have a pair of tennis shoes for vacation--will not list price cuz uh...well it wasn't too cheap. I splurgggggeeedd.

The Red High Heals! were! only! $5 as were the gold and lace ones. They are very HIGH, but very lovely.

The brown DC flips were on sale for 12.99 i believe. They are super comfy.

It's been too long...

So I've been very very bad in not writing.
Though I have many excuses, and all of them good I assure you, I will just say I've been busy.

So here's all the updates since i last posted:

1.) Logan turned 11 months old
2.) He is taking steps when he doesn't think about it. I believe he will be walkin very very soon.
3.) We are selling one of our single family homes
4.) Buying a 2 family
5.) Ray went on a "guys trip" which was awful! Not for him of course, but for me. I'm not fond of staying home alone, especially after someone tried to get in the house after I got home from church one night. *Scary*
6.) My brother came to church and prayed back through.
7.) My mom has come in on her flight today from CA, and will be here through till the 31st.
8.) I became the "helper" for the childrens signing group. They did their new song ---Hear us from Heaven---Sunday night. Oh my goodness, God totally used them and changed the service around and *sigh* it was like watchin' my kids sign this beautiful song covered in the anointing.
They did so awesome and I couldn't help but weep and watch them. I wasn't the only one either.
9.) Been gettin ready for the church vacation trip, which I will say, my lovely hubby is going on with us all. Logan will be staying behind with Ray's mom (g-ma).
10.) We get to start tryin to have another baby!!!
11.) Logan's b-day is a month away and I need to start plannin for that too---ahhh
12.) I bought two tommy outfits and also a tommy onesie for my baby girl that I'm going to have, BY FAITH.
Come on, what does the bible say, Faith with out works....

13.)I've downloaded a new ring tone for my phone, it's Shake Loose.


I can't think of anymore frankly. And I know there's been plenty that's happened. The prob is that it's nearly time for me to leave for sign practice tonight so I really need to cut this short.

Oh thought of another one,

paid 5.00 for a pair of red high heels that totally rock, and another 5.00 for a pair just like them but they are gold with black lace. Lovin' it!

Anyways...will try to do better at this bloggin, though no one reads, I still should keep up on it.

Just another monday

Nothing special happened today. I woke up tired, but I guess that's b/c I just was so busy this weekend.

I managed to get all the laundry done except for one load.
Cleaned out the fridge, freezer, and the pantry.

Picked up all the toys that my son managed to throw down the steps over his fence. We did the numerous times today already. He's nappin for a little bit now. Will get him up soon. For now though the peace and quite is very nice.

It's starting to really warm up out there and I would have to say that summer is on it's way.
It will get cool tonight though.

I've done my bookwork and got the money together to make payments. I feel as if I accomplished alot today.
Dinner is just about done. Waiting on my hubby to get home. (he tends to run late often)

Once dinner is finished we are off to the grocery store. It's the one thing that we always do together. We get pretty busy throughout the week and like this past week, didn't see much of eachother. But we will load Logan up in the car and drive to the store. Put him in the buggy and we walk up and down every single isle. (He taught me this routine) So about an hour spent in the store where we shop and just talk. It's normally close to Logan's bedtime when we get back home. So he's off to bed and I'm putting up all the grocerys. Ray is off somewhere else where there isn't a mound of grocerys to be put away.

Tomorrow night we have sign practice so I won't get to see Ray till late and then we will be off to bed.
Wed night, we should see eachother.
Thurs night-he will be on the houseboat, and I will be at church.
Fri- he always works till around 8. Normally he does book work if nothing is planned. So we aren't really spending time together.
Sat- he will be workin on his mom's deck, and I will be gettin stuff ready cuz we have a youth rally that night. I think tho Ray might go. *saying prayer*
Sun- we really don't see eachother till that night after I get home from church. So around ten at night.

I miss him quite alot. I enjoy his company, even when he likes to aggravate me. Which he does quite often.

I guess that's all for now....

It's Friday...Who's excited besides me?

Well, the work week has come to an end. For those of you who have jobs that is.
I, on the other hand, am a stay at home mom who manages books, my son, and the house.
My hubby says I also manage to spend plenty of money. I don't really think that counts! lol

As for today....
1.) Met old co-workers for lunch
2.) Went to a very cool store that sells items in bulk. Saved alot of money there!
3.) Done some laundry
4.) Paid all the bills
5.) Done some book work
6.) Played with my son and then just laid him down for his nap. (finally)
7.)Read a magazine....
8.) Now typin' this blog


I guess I haven't really done too much today. BUT the day is not over with yet. There's still some things I could get done pretty fast if I put my mind to it.

Tonight I believe we will be going to dinner and bowling. Meeting up with another couple from church who lives near us.
Should be interesting since the hubby's can both bowl quite well, and the wifey's can't.
I might score a hundred within two games. Maybe....can't be too sure. lol Not the greatest bowler that's for sure. They will have no competition from me.
So you can picture what it's like bowling with me....
I take the ball...or whatever it is...walk to the line and just launch it down the lane. I lean in whichever direction I'm wanting it to go, b/c if it gets too close to the ditch I somehow think by my leaning will re-direct the ball down the lane to possibly knock down some pins. Now we ALL know that it's not possible. But try telling that to my mind that tells my body to lean when I'm bowling. lol

There is a wedding tomorrow, I will be seating people along with another lady from church. It will be nice to be there. We are all excited about them getting married.
My hubby will have Logan. Maybe I can convince him to do something tomorrow night...oh yea...paperwork baby! lol

Sunday is church! Whooopppeee. My teams turn to do the kitchen meal for Sun night. Oh and btw, my pulled pork turned out awesome and everyone loved it! Ha! So there to all those who say I can't cook and have cracked many jokes on the subject.
