this year is over! well almost...

Ok so I've not posted in awhile...and I thought I would try my hardest to bring you all up to speed.

*Brooky has fully two teeth that she uses anytime she can.
*She finally got her cast off yest to which she lifted her leg repeatedly and kept looking at it.
*I think she missed her cast...I did NOT keep it...smelly!
*Logan...he is the same crazy little boy that he has always been. Talkin' better and better each day.
* He gained one pound!
*Brooky is almost 25 pounds! lol
*She says the following words:

  • dada
  • mama
  • no no
  • ba ba

*She is trying to crawl, but is so far only going into circles lol Its funny. I think soon she will be crawling though. Then Logan will be in trouble! lol

*She bites logan when she can and I try not to laugh cuz it is funny, but I don't want Logan to think it's ok to bite.

*Church is amazing as always!

*God is good despite my trials and things Im going through. I will Stand just as God asked me to do.

*My christmas tree is up...but no presents underneath...Logan will have them all open if I were to have them underneath the tree.

*Im in a christmas play at the church. What part do I play? The angel, the fiesty angel! lol Its a great play and Im so excited about it.

*Im trying to keep up on all the bills i have to pay and mail I get daily. All the paperwork and book work I have to do. all the filing...uhhh. But I think I've done a good enough job that when I have to start paperwork here in january...I will have a head start.

*Starting in Jan, I will be doing ALL the books. Im sort of looking forward to it, and really would like to be organized fully.we will see! lol

* I got asked to write for the Grant Co. News. (its where the church is located)

I will write about upcoming events, and even some church notes. Today was the first article I wrote that was published. I get a copy of it tomorrow night at church.

***hold on have to pause my writing to go help logo look for his cars. be back in min.***

Ok Im back.

Hmmm Im not sure what else to say right now. I will post more later when I can think of other stuff to share. Hope you are all great this holiday season.

brooky and her cast...

Yes...she has a broken leg. We thought it was her foot and ankle and it was just sprainged the doc said.
I kept tellin' them that it was hurting her, she wasn't crying for no reason. So I called the doc last night and explained to them this morning that she needed to have her leg x-rayed.
Of course they wanted to look at her, the doc she normally sees had not seen her the last few times we've been at the docs. So he seen her today. Found the exact spot. She showed some discomfort to her foot, but screamed when he pushed on the front of her lower leg, her tibula.
I went and got an x-ray done, and sure enough, like ive said all along, it was broke.
But she is actually 75% healed. but b/c of the discomfort, and wanting it to heal correctly, they have put her in a..........cast!
Its cute...
If you don't know what happened...it was just an ACCIDENT, promise! she was in her bumbo seat i got from walmart, sitting in it at church. She got sat on...very briefly, but it happened. It was just an accident...no hard feelings.
here are pics

They put silver glitter on her for it to be pretty!!! and it is!
She seems fine with it, and she only has to have it on for two weeks so it's ok.
I plan on taking more pics too.
In other news....
All is well!

Time has flown

Man I have had a great week or so....
I know ive not posted...but man, been busy ya'll!
Brooky is doing great, she has two teeth now.
Logan is still logan, my little boy. He talks and doesn't stop.
In that stage of 'mama whats that? mama who is that? Mama where did my car go?' Just anything he can talk about he does.
He had a blast at church, we've been in revival and he was lovin being there.
Ive received many words and I'm thankful that God knows where Im at at all times.
Ive felt myself go into a diff level in God.
My prayer has changed, my tongues have changed, and even my outlook.
I know that God is real.
My Pastor said that I was specifially chosen during this revival by God b/c of my attitude and determination.
Just so ya'll know, everything is great.
Im holding onto my word, nourishing it, keeping it close. (message pastor preached sun morn)
Well I want to share some pics with everyone...Enjoy...im about to go take a nap with kiddos. Have play prac tonight.
Love ya'll.

Tonights church service!

Let me start out by saying "WOW"We had some church. It is now 11:30, I just got home and we just got out of church at 10:30!!!God moved in a mighty way.I don't even know where to begin!!!Honestly! He preached...and the word of God is so powerful to those that lend an ear to hear what's being said.I can tell you this, The youth...who always worry about their image...they praise and worship don't get me wrong.but tonight. THEY PRAISED AND WORSHIPPED and ended up laid out ALL over the church. I mean laid out, speaking in tongues...oh what a great thing. They are our future church people!
Dear sis chris went and grabbed her mama and they shouted and ended up on the floor! During that though she got a word to give to me.I had rcvd a prophecy a few years back. In that prophecy ( and I can't remember it all) But God had said that I would be blessed beyond anything I could imagine. Not just in one area...but multiple areas as long as I held fast to the hand of God.I had asked God, just talkin' to him, I asked him if that was it, was it fulfilled, b/c believe you me, I'm blessed. If God doesn't even do anything else for me, I'm more then blessed.tonight he said, no, he isn't done...that it will go beyond what I could imagine....that it is in so many areas, not just one or two. To keep doing what I'm doing and it's coming, it's on it's way. Hallelujah!
Then tonight I helped pray with a sister in the church...I love her...but sometimes in prayer God changes it. i did something I had not done in a LONG time. I litterally fought hell while praying. Br. P had watched me and told me after service what I did with my hands. He said I pointed (meaning Judgement), and I held my hand out (meaning mercy), but then I pointed again (judgement), and then I made a fist (I was fighting) and then I pointed (judgement) and then I held my hands out (mercy) He said God used me as an instrument tonight. I've been praying for God to use me, that I wanted to be used...and he does that in prayer...Its always been my ministry...that and singing.Anyways...I know my tongue changed and I know I became athorative, but I know God did what he needed and I'm happy to have been apart of it.God is on the move.Br. Duke and his family will be here for thurs night service.
Stay tuned!!

Lots and Lots of Yum-Yum sauce

Those of you who have ever been to a hibachi grill type place, like our own Fugi grill, you know what YUM YUM sauce is. It's absolutely positively delicious.
I had planned to go to the bonfire for the youth and adults tonight. Due to me getting Bronchitis and having lost most of my voice, i figured it best to stay inside as much as possible. lol
Still had the mother in law keep the kiddos for awhile while i met my hubby for dinner at Fugi grill. OK, here is a great restaurant. The guy who cooks the food for you was someone we had before...and I mean he was memorable. He did a trick, and used too much fire lol and burnt his eyebrows off, no kidding. He had blisters by the end of his service. The other cooks really picked on him.
He was our cook this time. he didn't burn himself, but he did make some fires that were too big. All the other cooks and employees gathered around our table. They were busy due to it being Halloween and everyone out trick-or-treating. Anyways...I always get the same, filet mignon and chicken. He cooked up our food, we chatted with the other people sitting around the grill. I asked for some yum-yum sauce and as the guy goes to fill my little container, he dropped the container full of sauce onto the counter. It bounced, and flew all over me and half of the container of sauce was on the table and in my hubbys plate and on me! The guy didn't even offer to make my hubby a new plate of food. I mean the sauce is great, but you don't want to have your meal floating in it! It ruined!my!new!Tommy Hilfiger!shirt! and also an undershirt. Im so disappointed. All I could do was sit there with my hands up, my mouth open and just looking at the mess. The guy handed me a dry napkin! Ha one napkin, what's that going to do?!
It was a crazy mess, but hey , it added entertainment. There was an ex nfl player sitting at our table with his son, while his wife took their daughter out for halloween. We chatted with him.
Yes I looked him up online, he is legit, and he drives a BMW, just like mine, except he has diff rims and all tinted windows. He was super nice. So were the other couples and they had our back when the waitress came with the checks and said she took ten percent off our bill for our trouble!
Ray, bless his heart, said nope, Im not payin. You didn't offer me another meal, I always clean my plate and couldn't even eat half my food, you ruined my wifes clothes, the least you can do is pay for our meal. I promise I will come back! lol
After the employees discussed it, they finally gave us our dinner for free. What a night. I came straight home and took a bath.
Well all, kids are here, so is daddy.
Oh btw, brooky cut her second tooth today!

Another month come and gone

Do you ever sit back and say, Man where has the year gone.
Here we are closing in on the last days of october...moving
into November!
On one hand, we get to roll the clocks back Sunday for that
extra hour of sleep we have looked for since it was taken away.
On the other hand...its now officially moving into winter!
*Sigh*
I so look forward to spring. Don't get me wrong, I love a snowy day,
as long as it doesn't interfere with plans I had for that day.
Thanksgiving is now very close. Im not sure if we are really having a T-day.
I'm pretty sure that Ray's mom has to work. Maybe we will have it another day that she is off.
Last year I made those small turkey breasts...oh man was it good.
The Hubby has requested that for this year too.
I also for the first time every, made deviled eggs all by myself. They were delicious.
My mashed potatoes always rock the house!
I guess we will see as it draws closer what our plans will be.

Im still sick, and I believe that the normal cold, has now turned into the dreaded bronchitius. I get it every year at least once. I hate the cough that comes with it. The chest pain! And the crossing of legs when you cough or sneeze! agghhh!

Anyways...I was up doing some picture things for my pastor's wife, and now kids are in bed. Not asleep, nope, Logan even right now is asking for his blanket tag, and yelling for me to find it for him. Sissy, she is singing and saying 'dadadada'.
Hope you have a great day...after all, it's now after midnight...and it's the last day of October! Took me two days to write this post! Ha! that's funny!

Love to all

We had amazing church!

I know I say every church service was amazing, but really I can't help it! lol I go to an amazing church. The power of God is in every service. I mean every service. We had a visiting preacher, Br Atkins (I believe that's how you spell his name) and his wife and son. He has preached at our church before but tonight he preached and right at the end of the service I began to pray and Sister Rhoda..bless her heart...knew God was telling me to do something. All I kept hearing was shout ur hair down! lol I have been hearing that a few services but I was going to do it! As I began to shout I was only in my world with God and me, I didn't hear anyone around me. It was just us. I lost my shoes! I didn't remember loosing them, but I was given them afterwards. I didn't shout my hair down b/c as I shouted my praise changed into prayer..then travailing and weeping and just a whole new place. I don't remember really anything...but that is how it happens when I pray like that. I do remember that while in prayer I felt someone saying they were done, it was sad and oh man just like a weight. that was all that I got out of it...I had to be praying for someone, but God only wanted me to pray on their behalf. I have been called to pray since I was a child. At the age of 12 I used to have major prayer meetings on my own. Just God and me. You know how wonderful that was. I know that God wants to use me again that way and I pray that God does and that he gives me a burden. I remember one time on my way home from I think camp, I was in the car with my pastor and pastors wife at the time. I had been praying that God would give me a burden. I remember praying just a little, looked out the window and all of the sudden a huge burden just hit me. I saw the people in the cars on the highway and I saw lost people. All I could feel was this huge burden and that they were lost. I remember it hit me like a ton of bricks and I began to pray and seek God. I don't remember how long it was that I was in prayer. I do know that I was not embarrassed to pray and cry, and speak in tongues, I wanted to reach God for those people. I've had many experiences..and I pray that I have many more.

In other news of my life...

Logan is having good and bad nights of sleep. Ive been praying with him before I put him to bed. Last night he only woke up once. Hey it's better then five or six times.

Brooky...I got her appt the other day. She is a healthy 19 pounds and 12 ounces! lol and almost 30 inches long! Doc said that she was the size of a 1 year old. But b/c of her length it was ok. He said to up her baby food which she does 2-3 ounces now and can go to 4 ounces. She is doing good! lol Though when he checked her hips it made a noise or did something and sometimes it indicates that their hip isn't growing correctly. I had to get her an x-ray which she sailed through..even though I had to move and hold her legs (she had shots day b4). I decided when he said there could be an issue to not even worry about it. B/c ya know she is a miracle to begin with. She has been dedicated and all is well. I got the results back and she is fine. No prob with her hips.

Oh she also started cutting her first tooth through last night. Finally after months of irritation, she has a sharp little tooth. The one next to it isn't too far behind. Should cut through soon i think.

If I didn't mention...i got my car back! lol it's sooo pretty.
btw...the kids got locked in the car! When I leave church the kids help me out. One girl took baby and my brother took Logan out. I had my purse and diaper bag and other stuff. Takes all but the kitchen sink to go somewhere! lolAnyways...I gave my brother the keys to open the door. I don't know truly what happened, I got two stories. But the end result was that my son logan had the keys and locked him and sissy in the car. It was scary and we couldn't get him to push the unlock, only the lock button he liked it b/c the interior light came on. I had to call 911 and the called a wrecker service and the guy got it opened. this all took like 40 mins or so lol. It wasn't funny at the time, but man! It cost 50.00. Ray wasn't mad, but kept teasing me saying I locked the kids in the car. It wasn't me! All turned out fine. We got it unlocked and went to eat. Well I've got to hop off here. Time to put the kids to bed. Thank goodness, i'm exhausted and lookin' forward to a great night of sleep.
♥ to all and to all a good night!

Happy Sweetest Day!!!

I absolutely love any day that has to do with showing ur love and appreciation for ur honey, or my honey rather! lol
Ray is the on the other side though. He thinks its a way to waste money. So grant it...we didn't waste money according to him. It was hard for me to hold back and not even buy him a card but I didn't! *applause, pat on shoulder to oneself*

More exciting news....
The kids were LOCKED in the car by themselves! Yes I said LOCKED and BY THEMSELVES in the car. What happened u may ask? Well I get help sometimes out the the car. My brother took Logan out and one of church girls took Brooky out. I gave keys to my brother...and I've heard two diff stories, but the end result is that Logan had keys and locked them in the car. Everyone was around my car trying to get Logan to mash the unlock button which didn't happen. He kept pushing the lock button and havin' the lights to come on. If you know my keys my car key isn't a norm key. Its a block which has the lock, unlock, and pop trunk button on it. Its my key and you push it into a hole and push a start/stop button to crank/uncrank the car. Its neat. But in this case it wasn't too neat b/c Logan just kept pushing the lock button. And the spare you ask? It was in the car too, along with my purse! Anyways I ended up calling 911 and had to have a wrecker to come out and open the car. It cost 50.00! But my kids were safe. Now I have to find a box thing that I can put my spare key in just in case I ever need it.

Oh....Brooky Ya'll is cutting her first tooth finally! Its the bottom one, you can actually see it, and the one next to it should cut soon after the first.
Oh she got weighed and is 19 pounds 12 ounces! lol
She also is 30 inches long. Big kid! The doc said to up her baby food,so I will do it.

Well church tomorrow and it's almost 11pm so I've got to hop off here. have a great rest of the weekend!

shop till u drop!

Ya'll I shopped friday! lol I really shouldn't have...but I had pastors daughter with me and lol she tells ya to get everything! Now grant it...I got deals, lots of them. I got shoes from Rue 21 for $5 a pc and went to the thrift store...oh and I got me some birkenstocks...they are good for winter and wearing with our skirts. Hard to find shoes that go with skirts during the winter...in summer we all wear flip flops or a sandle.
We went to goodwill, they were having half off clothing sale. I got some skirts (dressy) and some suit jackets. Soon it will be cooling down and I can start wearing them. Found some stuff for other people as well.

We stayed the night fri at our camper. The season is almost over so we stayed. Ray stayed the entire weekend! lol he usually does though. I dont b/c its a long drive sun morning from there to the church. Well half hour till I put the kids down for the night!
Brooky goes tomorrow to get shots and her six month check up. Had to cancel the last appt. I think she weighs like 20 pounds! lol We will see.

check out my pretty hair!

Here is a hairdo that I just came up with when I was messing around trying to do something different. I need to wash my hair so I will try to redo this for church tonight. I love BIG hair!

Course there are a few changes that will be made...but I liked it over all!

All I want....

Well I could start off this blog by saying there is alot that I desire. Both spiritual and material I guess you could say.

Spiritual:

* I would like to have a great annointing....
* I would like to be able to pray more then I do now
*I would like to see God move even more in my family.
* I would like to be able to overcome my weaknesses better then what I do now b/c I feel like I'm doing a horrible job lol
* I would like to see God move in such a mighty way in our church. Greater then what he is moving now.
* I would love to get drunk in the spirit again.
* I would love to have my hands annointed greater then what they are now as I sign songs.

But above all else I want to have myself fully and wholly committed to God. I want to know that I'm ready if He were to come like a theif in the night. I want to be the clay and He the potter moulding me into a vessel worthy of His spirit.
All in time.

Material wise:
* I would love to have the land and house built that we've talked about for a few years already.
* I would love to have more of our property paid off!
* I would love to have my Yukon Denali, but looking like it won't ever happen.

Material wise...it's really just stuff. I'm spoiled! I love what I love and I can't help myself. But I've come to the decision that I'm not going to worry about it. Once again in Time things will happen and come to be.
I'm lucky and blessed beyond what most people are and I'm thankful.
Have a great night!

I know ur all dying for pics!

I found out that the last re-take pictures, they didn't add to send me link to view pics. So I will not have any of those to post unless i take time to scan. lol prob wont.

here are some pics from Brookys Dedication, and some other pictures as well.

Brooky doesn't take a nu nu, she chews on it. lol Talks with it in her mouth. Just something to play with according to her.Brooklynn sitting on my lap with logan holding her hand. This is from her dedication day.

Brooklynn with Br. Pullens, My Pastor. She loved being held by him during the dedication, and she hammed it up let me tell ya. Blowing bubbles, trying to get the microphone from him. He ended up giving it to me. It was so sweet.

He took Brooky to the alter and held her and prayed for her. Just as Hannah laid her baby on the alter in dedication back to God. He knew she would roll off so he sat with her.

Logan at church sitting up front with us for the dedication. He loves to dress up, get his hair done, wear his tie and belt lol and his dress shoes. He is my little preacher man.

Here is Logan thurs night at church shouting with the rest of the kids. He loves church.

Brooky day of dedication trying to get camera. lolThe whole family up front for the dedication. Logan was ready to go to his seat and Brooky, she watched Br. Pullens where ever he went, until he picked her up that is. For me it was something so sweet and special b/c I had prayed for a baby and not just a baby, a baby girl. That was one thing Br Pullens mentioned. God answered my prayers. Even after I miscarried, I still believed that Gods word was true and that he would give me my baby girl. She is six months old now and I'm still amazed lol. I serve a great and loving God.

Here is Logan from the VBS we had this summer. it was a survivor theme, hence the things around his neck! lol it was a great turn out and there were so many left over he grabbed all he could and wouldn't take them off. He was sweating! For days I had to get rid of a few at a time while he would nap until they were all gone b/c he wore them when he got up in the morning till nap time and when nap time was up, he wore them till bedtime. He has on one of the pastors daughters hat, and he didn't want to give it back to her. My kid is silly!

I believe they are both sleepin' now and I'm ready for a nap. It was an extremely busy week. Monday I had to do something...i don't remember what. Tues I was busy and had first prac for christmas program we will be doing. Wed had prac for drama that we were doing for fri night service. Thurs night was church and I was helping a sister at the church prepare dinner for the Pastors family and visiting preacher. I cooked loaded mashed potatoes, steak (and my steaks are yummy!), mushrooms and onions, and salad. There was desert too, but not made by me. Anyways it was a late night. I was supposed to take Brooky to get shots Fri morning but we got in so late and there was no way. I have to reschedule. Fri though we had church and it was amazing. My hubby has me lay out some clothes for him in case he showed up, which he did! lol God is great. It may be a small step to some, but it's huge to me. So now it's saturday, ray went to work and should be home soon, Kids asleep and I'm going to lay down too. Tomorrow is church and busy most of the day, so I prob won't blog tomorrow. Have a great weekend all.

I'm Thankful

In my life I have a lot to be Thankful for, even from a very young age. My real mother gave us up to our cousin at the age of two and we were raised in a Godly home. Even though we (my brother and I) weren't raised by our real mom, we knew her, she baby sat us. But God saw fit to put us in a Godly home. I rcvd the Holy Ghost at the age of 6! I was baptized in His wonderful name, Jesus, shortly after. B/c of situations, we went to live with our real mom right before we turned 7. I was marked though. I had been buried in the water and covered. God kept my brother and myself even though we hadn't been to church, he brought us once again to our cousin after our mom left when we were 10. She moved on to other things. But our cousin took us in again. We call her Mom. She wasn't in church at the time, had backslid, but knowning her responsibility to raise us she wanted to raise us right so she got back in church. I'm thankful b/c I remember as a young child in my room that i shared with my brother laying on the top bunk and crying out to God. He heard me I know he did b/c my heart felt him. I would lay there and tell Him I loved him. I would thank him for what he had done for me. I would give him a hug, litterally hold my arms up and out hugging him, and I can remember feeling like I was truly being hugged back. *crying now as I type this!* God is such a loving God. I didn't understand why things were happening the way they were but I remembered loving God.
So being back with our cousin, our mom, back in church, we moved to the Northern KY area. There we found a church and I was filled with the Holy Ghost once again. It was like coming home. God healed my hurt, and restored me. I know that even at a young age God had a plan for me. That he wanted to use me.
That is my desire to this very day, to be used by Him for His glory. Sure I've failed and done things that were against Him and his word, but its covered under the Blood. I want to be used and to feel the annointing greater then what I have ever felt it. I want to pray and seek His face.
Last night we had church. A visiting preacher from LA was here with his wife. She is sooo sweet and he is crazy funny.
I know that God gave me a promise, two actually, since I've been back in church. (little over two years) anyways...God promised me that my husband would be saved as long as I stayed faithful. He promised me little over a year ago that I would have my baby girl...and I have her. I held on to that promise even after I had miscarried after receiving that promise. I was pregnant for two months before I found out. That is abnormal for me b/c I always know when I pregnant as early as a week to two weeks.
Anyways sometimes it's a battle mind wise. Im not a paitent person by nature...if u know me u know what I mean. So sometimes it's hard seeing in my minds eye and having the faith that my hubby will walk through those doors and get the Holy Ghost. Be baptized in Jesus name and live the life of truth. But last night the visiting preacher from LA, Br Avery, told me that God will do it. He can't lie. That Ray was no match for God. lol and that is the truth too. It was some encouragement and I'm happy about it ya know. This morning Ray brought up that I had church tonight too. I told him yes and did he want to come. He said 'I don't know. maybe. It's the first of the month and Fri so I will prob work late.' I told him I would leave him some clothes out that he could come late even. He said he might or he might just meet us to eat with us all after church. Gods going to do it, so fellow readers...be prepared for the post telling you of how God did it!

My husbands words of wisdom?

Here is what my hubby had to say to Brooky a few mins ago....."Brooky you ready for tomorrow morning? Were going to give you to the Lord. That means daddy doesn't have to buy you diapers anymore, or formula..."I find that funny! he looked at me of course to see what I had to say or if I was even paying attn to what he was saying to our daughter. Of course I heard him. I have "mommy ears" lol.Anyways...yes we are giving Brooky back to the Lord. Her dedication is tomorrow morning. Pictures will be taken and posted at a later date.Pray for my hubby tomorrow that God touch him like he has never been touched b4 and that God will open his heart.

Update on the latest...

*Remember the wind damage to properties...? Well we, meaning my hubby now, is working with an adjuster per property to get resolved and checks cut. lol The last appt will be Sat morning. Then work will start hopefully the following week.
The other property work will start prob tomorrow I would say. Checks have been cut for the job already.

*Pictures! Yes I have the pictures but no link to add to my computer. So I will have to take the time to scan pictures so everyone can see. I have been working on cutting them up, what little amount we have for the huge amount of money we paid.

*Taxes...ugghhh! I have gotten all my buildings straightened out and money sat aside finally! lol Reminding the Hubbs daily to Please go pay them! I mean he passes the place at least once daily! lol

*Paperwork...yes I'm crackin' the whip, I mean, motivating the hubbs to do his paperwork. We are currently all up to date! lol it's a miracle. Though I have a basket full of filing to do. ugghhh!

*The never ending laundry...is still never ending....

*Brooky...rolls over and over and over...lol and says Dadadadada over and over and over!!

* I'm using alot of !!!!!!......I like them!

*Logan ...well he is trying to live on Chocolate milk. No he eats, but all he wants to drink is Choc milk. We actually give him 85% whole milk and 15% choc milk. Just enough for flava. He does drink flavored water every now and then.

* I mowed the front and almost the whole back yard yesterday b4 telling the hubby he could do the rest. Is it done you ask...that would be a NO. ha ha ha...he ran out of gas after doing one strip and left it to finish last night. Except when he got home last night to get logan b/c I was going to sign practice, he never finished. So I have a square of uncut grass in the middle of my back yard.

* Sign practice last night was so great. We learned a new song and I have the first verse. It's so coooooollll. Its an amazing song and then to top it off were doing it in sign language. Just beautiful and powerful. I'm going to suggest we do it in white gloves and black lights...I think that would be totally awesome!

*I have called and left a message to the guy who is working from the insurance co. regarding my car. I have not rcvd a call back to which I am really upset. It's been close to a week since I faxed him the estimate. I'm ready to make my car pretty again! I'm calling him tomorrow if he doesn't call me by nap time.

* I seen my doc today for a follow up visit regarding my procedure I had done a month ago. All went well and it was good to see him. I was expecting to see the other doc...who is soooo nice. lol My hubby said after they woke me up I kept telling him how nice she was and had he met her. Ha! it was funny. I don't remember it...but hearing him tell it...it was funny.

*Oh Brooky's dedication is Sunday morning. Finally!!! I'm glad for it. It's been postponed for too long. I'm happy it's happening. And that Ray will be there. Anytime he goes to church with me...I don't know I just get so excited. It's something really special to me.

It's that time...bedtime. I didn't take a nap with the kids today so I'm totally ready to go to sleepy. Night to all!

Another day in my life

I can't say that I've been busy...just have been doing alot lately. With my car issues (running over a semi tire), wind storm damage on our properties, taxes due on buildings, paperwork to be done, kids to raise lol, husband to raise...lol I mean take care of. It's just sort of been crazy around here.
I met my hubby at the shop that he wanted me to get an estimate done on my car. Some of the pcs that are no longer on my car but need to be replaced, weren't in the system to be calculated into the total. It will be later. So far its at 2500.00 We have a 500.00 deductible so that's not too bad.
Found out that during the crazy wind storm we had, that we had two roofs that peeled back like a sardine can lid. Yea, we had 70,000.00 in damage on those and were currently waiting on the adjuster and ins peeps to get it together to cut us a check b4 it rains and the damage goes up. Doesn't look like we will get it b4 it rains b/c it's awfully cloudy today.
I believe Logan is getting to the stage of not wanting to have a nap during the day. Each day differs. Sometimes he can go all day and not have a nap and around 8 he starts getting whiny, and then there are days around 1pm you know it's time to put him down. I think its good to have him on a schedule to have him lay down when Brooky goes down for her afternoon nap. Idk, we will have to see.
Ray got a play swing set/fort/slide thing free from a buddy. Its not brand new and there is some wood he will have to add to it once putting it together. But so far it looks like it will be alot of fun. Ray and Logan went to the store to get the rest of supplies they need to assemble the play thing...what are they called really? lol The finished picture is to include the play set put together completely and Ray said he wants to put a border around it and put wood chips on the inside. So it's really going to be like a park. Ray was excited that it cuts down on his mowing lol. Men!
It was the funniest thing watching Ray tell Logan how to climb the wall and watching Logan try it. He did it, don't get me wrong, but it was like watching a funniest home video clip. I couldn't quit laughing. Come to think of it, I should have recorded it on my camera! Man! oh well.
Anyways...that will prob be our day today, just hanging out. Tomorrow is always busy b/c of church and praise team practice and then church again at night.
Oh, I told you guys that I had got re-takes done of the kids pictures. I posted some of the previous ones on a blog b4. Well I haven't been sent the link yet to view the pictures of the re-takes. But when I get it I will save them and post for everyone to see.
That's all folks!
♥ ya!!!

Thank God I can call on Him

I was on my way home from dropping Logan off. There is a point on my drive home where there are no highway lights. Well I was in the middle lane and b4 I could move out of that lane I hit something really big. It put my car up on two wheels and I drove completely over it. I screamed Jesus and my car came back to all four tires and I got over to the emergency lane. I sat there for a second so shaken up. Thanking God I was alive! Brooky slept through it all. I got out to look at my car, but due to no lights, I couldn't really see what the damage was. I called Ray crying my eyes out. He of course tried to make sense of my babble and calmed me down eventually. I explained what had happened that I hit something, wasn't sure what it was but it was big. My car almost flipped, I was shaking, scared and still crying!

I made it to where he was and him and his friend looked at my car. The figured out it had to be a tire, a big tire that I hit. My bumper in the front will need to be replaced, which will be the whole front end b/c it's all one pc. Then the low side panel on the passenger side I almost lost. They fixed it to where I won't loose it. I'm not sure what else is wrong...but man I thank God he heard me cry out to Him in my time of need. My Pastor had just told me Sun night that this week I would be facing a trial but to hold on...and he also had told me to pick up my vow that I had vowed to God. Last night I got rid of some things and then tonight this happened! lol He asked me when he called me to see what had happened if it was worth my annointing. I said yes! If my car is wrecked and God wants me to drive a van...well so be it if I can have the annointing I'm desiring. You had to hear the service to know fully what I'm talking about.
Anyways...my shoulder was hurt during my driving chaos, but I took two tylenol 3 and now I'm ready for bed. So...have a wonderful night. I will post later what the insurance people have to say! Not looking forward to it since we just reported two claims to them Monday due to the horrible wind storm we had Sunday. Two of our roofs peeled back like a sardine can lid. One roof was on a new building we just purchased and just had insured. lol Craziness! All is well though. I serve a Great God and He has all in control. It's all happened for a reason. Who knows maybe there are finacial blessings on the way...Hey maybe I can have my new truck I've been wanting....I know Melony...you would rather I drive a hybrid...lol...sorry I love my Yukon Denali.

All in a days work

My day of work is different from those who have a 'real job' as Br. Eric and my hubby always try to tell me. I don't have a real job. Though Ray says he pays me a great salary. Ha he is crazy!
I've worked today on some insurance stuff, had to work on my computer. My flat screen died on me. Thank God it wasn't the computer yet b/c I had to really convince Ray to buy a flash drive so I could put pictures and documents on it in case the comp decided to die. Which I thought it had and I hadn't done the file downloads yet. Ray was mad...I had the drive for few weeks. lol But I figured out that it prob was the screen and not the comp. My brother had another screen and after hooking everything up....tada! I have a computer again!

Anyways yesterday was the funeral for Jake. Amber was tore up and I can't even begin to imagine what she is going through. The boys weren't there b/c she felt it best for them not to see their daddy in a casket, I agree whole heartedly. It's an awful situation. Ray asked me last night what I thought Jake was doing right now. That is a touchy subject really. I believe what the bible has said...and that is unless you are born of the water (baptism) and spirit (getting the Holy Ghost) you can't enter the kingdom of Heaven. But...God ultimatly is the judge of who goes to Heaven and who goes to Hell. I know there are people that don't believe anything really happens after you die. Or that only criminals go to hell and the rest go to Heaven...well the way I believe is that You have to have the Holy Ghost, be Baptized in Jesus Name (not trinity-father son holy ghost) and you need to live a life that is according to God's word. Believe me there are MANY people who would disagree with me. But hey it's my belief. I hope that I live a life that when it's over I hear God say welcome in thou good and faithful servent....rather then I knew you not depart from me.

My old pastors wife was very wise in stuff she said and alot has stuck with me over the years. She used to say live for God hard and it will be easy. But if you live for Him easy, it will be hard. It's true really. So when Ray asked me what Jake was doing. I told him that God was the judge I don't know what he was doing. I can't come out and say that I don't believe he made it to heaven. Jake was a great guy. So sweet, great father, great husband...how could he not go to Heaven....well maybe he is there...or maybe he isn't, God knows. I pray for Amber and the boys. God is a loving God even though Jake died at a young age. He will take care of Amber and the boys. I believe that.

Today is church and I'm lookin forward to service tonight. Kids are asleep and I think I'm going to lay down too...lol I love me a nap!

Each day is precious...

Saturday was supposed to be our yard sale day where we finally get rid of all the junk my husband brings home that people leave in the apts when they are evicted or have moved. But that was changed and moved to beginning of Oct. So I had made plans and we were going to go run some numbers on a GMC YUKON, that I totally have been wanting. I like the Denali too alot. But anyways, we were going to test drive and see what I could get for my car and so such. That plan was cancelled too. Ray had to run to Covington (where our properties are) and collect little rent, and then was supposed to come back really quick. NOOOO. He ended up getting home near 11. His aunt and cousin thought the yard sale was on still so they showed up. We visitited with them for an hour and then Ray left to go to meet his friends. They were having a meeting at a bar on the river so they could get their football sheets. Something with scores and oh I don't know. That of course took longer then he said it would because he socializes and looses track of time. Six thirty rolled around and he finally walked through the door. I was upset but I got dinner out of the crummy day. LongHorn is soooo good ya'll. We spent the rest of the night together and that was nice. I love spending time with the Hubbs.

We found out some really sad news Sat. though too. I mean it's awful. Ray's mom was married and he died few years back. But he had kids. They were older and had families. But anyways one of the sons has a wife named Amber. She is the other daughter-in-law Amber lol. So she woke up with their ten month old at 2 in the morning. He wanted a bottle. She asked her hubby, Jake, to get the bottle for her. He didn't answer. She turned the light on and he was blue. He had said before they went to bed he didn't feel good. He died in his sleep and they think it was his heart. I haven't heard other wise yet. They have 3 boys under the age of 4 and one on the way due in December. Its so heartbreaking. I've been praying for them and that God will give her strength to make it each and every day without her best friend and Husband. They were together all the time. He was on disability, didn't get much money, but they were together and the kids always had a daddy around. The layout is Wed morning. Please keep Her and her boys in your prayers fellow readers. It was a shock to know that Jake died. He was only 30 years old. I've always told my husband Ray that no one is promised tomorrow. Laying in bed Saturday night I kept thinking about it and I finally said, I can't imagine what she is going through. Ray said he couldn't either.Even though things aren't the way I want them to be right now. I know that I am blessed. I have a husband who loves me and who will one day, In God's Timing, will be saved and living for God.I had a friend that said I complained alot about things that my husband does. I asked my husband did I do that. He said that yes I complained, but he knew that I had reason to because he doesn't do what he should. (likes spend more time with us and be romantic sometimes instead of practical all the time) I made a note in my head...there's plenty of room...lol to try to not saying negative things I don't want to be a negative person. I don't want to complain. After hearing about Amber's loss, I couldn't help but grab my husband and tell him I love him. If something were to happen to him, God forbid, I want him knowing that I truly loved him without a doubt. He said he never doubted that I loved him.

So anyways...enough sad stuff!

Sunday morning was pretty great. I was surprised and asked to sing. It's been a longtime since that's happened. I sang 'Because He Lives'. My friend asked me to sing it. I felt the annointing while singing and by the time I finished my knees were shaking b/c I was a nervous wreck. It sounded different. It was different. I've been praying that God will annoint me again. Not bring me back to the annointing that I had before I backslid, but to bring me to that point and then beyond. Sunday morning was just the beginning. I thank God for it. Sunday night in the prayer room. Sister Rhoda prayed for my voice that God would begin to restore...I had not told anyone...***tears coming to my eyes!***She prayed a prayer for me and I was just so moved. We had a time in the prayer room.We had praise team practice before church and we were singing a song I had a verse on. I had sang the song before and really felt like I bombed it. But this time I did have an annointing and I looked to the ceiling almost the entire time. Like I sang the song to God alone. I felt a difference and I know it's only the beginning. I want to be used by God. Some people, their ministry is to work with people. That is what their talent is. I feel like my talent and ministry is to allow God to use my voice. Not for any glory of my own. B/c without God I wouldn't have a voice or even be where I am today. I realized that when I backslid that music had become a talent. It wasn't something I was allowing God to use me in. He did use me. But it means something totally different to me now. We really had church Sunday night. Br. Pullens preached and it was a great word. I thank God that I have a pastor and pastor's wife and that I belong in the Apostolic Faith.

I ordered them through a lady off of my Everyones Apostolic page. Found out I had bought the purple one from her off Ebay and didn't know it till just few days ago. She does an awesome job. Her name is Prettyprincessbows...on Ebay. Check them out if ya have a little girl...they are adorable.

Did ya have a good weekend?

Hello everyone!
So lets catch ya up on everything.
Hmmm....
*Logan has an ear infection...so we have been having some rough nights of sleeping.
*B/c of him being sick and no sleep we, yet again, cancelled our re-take pic appt.
*new appt is tomorrow (tues)
*We had awesome church Yest. AWESOME!
*Ray of course went out on boat all day since it was the fireworks. I believe I went last year, but I wasn't missing church for the fireworks. Have to stand my ground ya know.
LOL he ended up having an awful day and didn't even get to drink very many beers. lol He said he maybe got to drink 5. I find that sooo funny b/c I was upset knowing he would be stone drunk and prob staying the night on our houseboat at the dock.
The houseboat over hearted for some reason. Just the day before it was running like a champ.
All I know is I stood my ground, went to church with my kids and I worshipped. I had a great day. Its hard knowing that my spouse is not in church with me and is out doing other things while I'm at church. But it's where I know I should be and if I do as I know to do, God will work it out in the end.
* Ray took off today, which shocked me. I was glad though. We haven't done much. I was exhausted but stayed up with the kids. When Ray went to store with Logan to get Brooky some formula, I laid down with her. We napped. He put logan down for a nap and went on an errand.
Right now him and Logan are in Covington doing who knows what. Hopefully collecting rent. I've got Tax bills in the mailbox...ugghhh.
*oh Sat we went to dinner with another couple from church. Took them to one of our fav pizza places. It's just a pizza shop we discovered and they have some great sauce...family owned business. Then we took Logan to Sports of All Sorts and played around there.
We were going to camp, but Friday I took Logan to doctor and found out why he was so sick and upset and hurting. I was pretty sure it was ear infection, but I don't have one of the dodads to look in his ear.
Oh my goodness....someone told me to put a drop of pee in his ear and it would clear it right up. Gross, but I've heard that works. I think I'm too chicken to do it though. I don't know, I'm ready for a full night of sleep! lol I bet Ray would do it. If we do this, lol lol lol I will let ya know. Oh man that's so gross.
Ok...well the week has begun. Though most people are off today due to labor day weekend. Well I'm going to switch the laundry and start another load.
Have a great week everyone.

The most recent 'stuff'

Ya so I haven't posted here, but I have on my Everyones Apostolic as of Saturday. Here it is, Enjoy!

So today was my 'date' day with the hubby Ray. I love him! I tried not to get my hopes up too much, which ended up being a good thing. I know that he has it lil harder b/c I don't go to movies, or drink, or any of that stuff. But we did go for a boat ride. Before that though we waited on G'ma to show up to get kids. little after 11 we were kid free. We headed towards the boat dock and ended up going and collecting rent. I wasn't too happy lol. But I sat there like a good wife. We did end up going to the boat dock and going out for a ride. It was soooo pretty and nice out today and being on the water really was a treat. I don't get to go out cuz Brooky can't wear a life jacket yet. Four more pounds though and she is allowed lol. Anyways we took a trip up to his friends camp that is in Hebron KY on the river. It was nice seeing everyone again cuz it had been a year really since I had seen everybody. But still not "my" idea of Romance ha ha ha. We stayed there longer then I liked but it wasn't so bad.Got back on the boat around 4 or so. We made it back to the dock, parked and drove back to collect more rent for those we missed first time around. I got to meet some renters I had not met yet. Eventually Drove home to change to go to Dinner. We decided to go to Fuji Grill which is where they cook your food for you on a grill right in front of you. It's really great. I was wanting Red Lobster, but Ray doesn't really care for it and when he mentioned the other place I picked to go there b/c I knew we both would enjoy it. That we did. It was sooo great. We had one of the best guys cooking for us. It was nice. We ended up sitting next to a nice couple and their son. Ended up we had quite a bit in common, including the type of car we drove. Except they had tinted windows, That's on my to-do/want list. After eating out fill we went to Walmart to get some items. Normally it's really rough going there with Ray b/c it bothers him to even walk around b/c I remember more stuff while I'm there that I need to get. But you could tell he really made an effort to just walk around. Of course we got more then we originally planned on getting but it was all stuff we needed.Ray right now is up painting Logans side of the bedroom. Well he is cutting in, I will help him paint when he is done with that. We did Brooky's side already. The color is called 'Tink Pink'. It is soooo pretty. I added these little butterfly stickers that all came in a package. It's awesome. Logans Is a Ocean Blue color, really bright like the pink. He will have Nemo or "Memo" as Logan says, stickers put up on his side. I really want to find him nemo bedding really cheap if I can. Anyways...that's about all for now. He should be ready for my help. It's getting late and I need to get up early for church tomorrow.

I've passed a hundred posts!

So fellow readers, how have you been?

I'm having a procedure done today at 3:30. Not looking forward to it, but the results that come after the procedure will help figure out what's been causing me so many problems and how to fix it. Ive had to drink this stuff that cleans you out. No joke, you are clean as a whistle. (gross I know) But it's amazing how better you feel without all that junk in ya.

**************

I've got copies of pictures that we had done and Pennys. But we are getting them to do retakes. I had to ask the photographer to change the background and it all around was a bad experience. Retakes will be with the manager and on the 29th. Here are a couple pics that were done.

So i think they are cute. But I really would like to have a great session where diff things are done. You pay and arm and a leg and you should get great pics ya know. I'm going to lay down before I have to start my next drink of clean out stuff. (gag) Love you all.

can you say ewww?

I have been dealing with two sick kids that somehow caught the virus thing that's been floating around. It seems maybe the worst is over now, Thank you Lord!
I'm about done with throw up, snot, coughing, gagging on snot...ya know all the nastiness. lol

*************
Oh my goodness! This morning I went and got Brooky up right. I put her on my hip with her facing out, not towards me. Anyways I thought she had threw up a little while I was carrying her b/c, eeewwww, I felt something wet hit my foot. It was poop!from!her!diaper! Oh my goodness, gag! Ya so I looked behind me, and she had drops everywhere. I had a mess not only to clean up on her, but on the floor too, and my cute skirt! lol She just smiled at me. I laughed cuz I couldn't help it.
*************

Logan hasn't really eaten in a few days since he has been sick. Brooky sick or not isn't giving up her food! lol She is 16 pounds 5.4 ounces! My little fatty. She is starting to sit up on her own for a little bit and holds her bottle for little bit too. She talks like crazy and I talk right back to her. She lost alot of hair and it's coming in lighter, almost a blonde color. I used to be blonde when I was younger. I hope it keeps the curl too. Logan got another hair cut from gigi. She showed me how to do it so next time I can do it myself.....Lord Help Me! lol

**************

Had I mentioned we got the kids pics done? Well we scheduled re-takes b/c they we just weren't happy. So now I'm trying to find outfits I want them to match in. Also we canceled the re-take session b/c kids have been sick and wouldn't make for good pictures unless you want to see how awful logan looks when ill. Brooky still smiles past the snot and coughing.

***************
Did I mention Brooky eats from a spoon at least one jar of baby food a day, plus cereal and milk bottles? She is growing up so fast. I'm thinking by 6 months she will be at least 20 pounds, sitting up and hold bottle full time. Possibly working on crawling.

****************
Well I'm hopping off. Need to cut Ray Ray's hair. I think this time it will be better then the last. Thanks to my lesson from Gigi lol.

Love to all!

You ever just had one of them weeks?

So I've been really sick. Like sick, being taken by ambulance sick. I had to go to the Er last week b/c I couldn't move I was in so much pain. My belly was killing me, I threw up my dinner, and I had passed out. I was ill. It ended up being a problem with my instestine. I wasn't allowed to really eat anything for days, but drink plenty of fluid. I'm waiting for an appt to be scheduled with a GI specialist to see what is the problem and how to resolve. On top of that I got a cold! agghhh *blowing nose* it's just been grand lately. lol
Actually my cold is almost gone, but Brooky, poor thing, has got it now. Logan has started too, but not as bad as sissy.
So ya I haven't felt much like posting. I thought I would drop a line though to let you know I haven't died or anything lol.
Well kids down for a nap, and I'm exhausted too. I'm going to lay down. The joy of being a stay at home mom. You switch the laundry when you put the kids down and then you go lay down yourself if you feel like it. Yayyyy!

All that's happened in the past week or so

Yes I know, I've not posted in a long time.
We had revival Sun, Mon and Tues. Wed, I just didn't feel like typing, and today, well I'm hurrying while kids are sleeping.

Here's what's been happening:

*Revival, yes it was Great! Br and Sis Garcia from Kentwood LA came in and preached. We had some amazing and heart changing services. Ray came Tues. night. For the first time ever he came up to the front where I was worshipping and stood with me. God is great and greatly to be praised. He says he doesn't feel anything, but actions speak louder then words my friends. He can try to deny it all he wants, but I know, and I'm not giving up on my promises.

* I've been ebay-ing again. Yes it's awful, but I can't stay away! lol On the other hand I've found some awesome things at a great price. So that makes me feel little better.

* I've ordered 6 new cd's through Pentecostal Publishing house, only to receive a letter saying every single one of them have been back ordered. WHAT? I was steamed. I called and said, why wasn't I advised of this at the time I placed my order? I was told that they were sorry, but their website wasn't that advanced. HUH? I'm over it.

*Brooky had her four month visit yesterday. Daddy took her b/c she was getting shots and I didn't want to be there in case I would have to punch a nurse when they stab her leg and bend a needle. (ya that happened with Logan.) **I didn't punch her, but I felt like it**
Since that incident, I've tried to make the appt where kids get shots for when Daddy can go. He is much more laid back. He also can handle their crying better then me. My heart breaks.
She weighs 15 pounds even and is 26" long. Doc told Ray that I needed to start giving her food twice a day rather then once, plus cereal. Apparently she is needing more lol.

* Logan is talking non-stop. It's great b/c he seems to learn something new everyday. But man, he can talk. I've been told he inherited that from me. I don't know where they got that idea from.

* Brooky loves her bouncing seat thing that hangs in a door way. It's on loan from friend from church whos baby can't use it any longer. We have to put blankets in the seat with her to keep her propped up straight, else she ends up all crooked. She loves it. Logan does too. Remember when you were a kid and you would sit on a swing and your friend would twist and twist you and then let you go so you would spin like crazy. Well Logan's discovered that he can do that to sissy. have to watch him lol. She likes it even though she is dizzy. She cracks up laughing. She loves her brother that's for sure.

Well kids are waking up. It's feeding time and then getting ready for church. Need to go to Walmart before service. Have a great weekend.

God woke me up early this morning

I had only been asleep for maybe four hours when God woke me up this morning. He brought to mind a woman that I knew years before. At first I laid there and prayed a little for her. Finally I got up. I did a search for her on an Apostolic website I belong to and couldn't find her. I did however google her and found her on another website that I belonged to. Anyways, there had to be a reason God brought her to mind so early this morning, Especially after all these years. While in search for her on the Apostolic website, I searched another Evangelist I knew. I found an article he wrote on Intercessory prayer. It's very true what he wrote and I wanted to share it with you.

This was emailed to Bro. Anthony Mangun and he sent it to his church members. I wanted to post it because it is so true and necessary in these last days!! I believe Intercessory Prayer is the vehicle that shakes the foundations of hell. It will work when nothing else will.Webster defines interceding as: : to intervene between parties with a view to reconciling differences : mediateIntercessory Prayer, We Miss You!By Martyn Ballestero Sr.This is just a line to let you know how things are since you’ve gone. It’s not the same without you, nor will it ever be. Although our lives seem shallow and empty when you’re not here, we’ve learned to make up for you in other ways. We’ve learned to live without you.We now run the aisles, leap for joy, jig to the music, sing catchy choruses, and tap our feet in time to the rhythm of the drums. We use sticks, banners, black lights and our sign teams do a tremendous job acting out recorded music. We’ve learned to worship without you.The prayer rooms are mostly silent now. Those that do go there, for the most part, come away dry-eyed. A lot of praying now is chanting and singsong style. That’s how we know we’re in the groove. We pray memorized phrases that come automatically. We love what we call Prayer Walks. Most of us don’t even close our eyes anymore during prayer. We just walk and pray while we look around. We pray because it is required. No one prays till they break through anymore. We just pray till our ten minutes are up.Family altars are almost unheard of now. You can’t imagine how busy we are and how hectic our schedules have been. It’s unbelievable. We get up in the morning and never stop till we go to bed at night. We do try to make it to church most services and get some praying in there during the service, but prayer at home is kind of out of the question. That may be another reason you haven’t heard much from us.Oh sure, we still believe in prayer, as such. But not very many of us are anxious for you to come back. (You were always the polite type, you know, never forcing yourself on anyone. You never came uninvited. You only left because you were ignored.)The sad truth is you’re not really needed anymore. You see, most of us have hospitalization insurance now. (It sure takes away that old desperate feeling we use to have.) So now, there’s no need to pray more than the few minutes it takes to drive to the Emergency Room. Also, we don’t have to ask for our daily bread like we used to. We now have better jobs with good benefits and government programs to fall back on.If we lose our jobs, there is always Unemployment or Welfare. If we retire or become disabled, Social Security now supplies our needs. So, you can see, we’re doing OK. Other things have filled the void in your absence. Sure we miss you. But we’re getting over it some how. Actually, we’re too busy to entertain you right now, even if you tried to come back. I hope you understand. We are having revivals now without you. It’s not hard. The pastor fasts and prays, along with a couple others. The evangelist preaches mostly just to sinners now. Most of us try to get to church in time for the first song or two. We justify the fact that the number of new converts is down. Yes, there seems to be diminished conviction, less lasting victory, fewer miracles and many young people are backsliding. We agree, however, that it’s not us that are at fault here; it’s just the times we’re living in. It’s like this everywhere. As your friend, I’m writing this to you, knowing how much it must hurt you to have folks say they miss you… and yet in their material and intellectual progress, they’ve weaned themselves away from the haunting memory of you. What hurts, I know, is that we were children you personally raised. You were always there when we needed you. (But now… we don’t.) You taught us about faith. You taught us about miracles. You taught us about a move of God. You taught us about revival. You taught us about how to touch God. Thank you for that, but you see, this is a new day and we are trying to go to the next level. Our services are structured differently now.Do you know… can you believe, that now when you are ever mentioned in church, everyone gets real quite? They all feel guilty I’m sure. It’s like they experience a momentary twinge of guilt while they consider their part in your disappearance. Once in awhile some even get misty eyed when we talk about the old times you shared with us. But all that feeling vanishes along with the pizza right after church. No, Intercessory Prayer, your coming back really wouldn’t work right now. We’re too blessed. We’re doing too well. We’re comfortable. In your day, you served your purpose, but the sentiment of most today is that we can manage OK without you now. We’ve got better clothes, cars, homes and prettier and bigger churches than ever.By the way, do you remember all the folks of yesteryear coming into the sanctuary with red-rimmed eyes? Remember the baggy looking knees in men’s’ suits? Remember all night prayer meetings? Remember the depth that was in worship? Remember when sinners couldn’t sit in their pews any longer, and would run to the altar? Remember when you could feel unity and brotherly love? When folks helped bear one another’s burdens? When the saints didn’t watch the clock? When they could hardly wait to enjoy the after service atmosphere, praying around the altar until the wee hours of the morning? Boy, those were to good old days. We call that “Old School.”Well, it’s pretty much all gone now. But you ought to see our new Hammond C-3, our new drum set with a cage and everything. Electric bass guitars are just awesome and the electric guitars too. We use Praise Singers to help cover up the fact that our congregations don’t sing like they should or used to. We let them do most of our worship for us. Our Choirs just do terrific on the new style songs. Old saints don’t like the new songs much, but the younger crowd seems to like them. Many music directors don’t even know some of your old favorite songs, so they don’t get played much anywhere. You would be proud of our church buildings. Carpet on the floors, there are pews now instead of benches and they are padded too, besides. The arched beam are beautiful, we also have the loveliest of imported chandeliers. Our pastor has polish too. He doesn’t preach long. We are more concerned about sermon length now, than content. Our pastor spices up his sermons with cute sayings… but I guess that’s progress for you. “Win some, lose some.”Speaking of “lose some”, we’re losing a surprising percentage of our young people. An unbelievable number of marriages have gone on the rocks. Many lives have been in jeopardy. But that’s to be expected I guess. Teenagers seem to be at war with their parents and want to dress more and more like the kids at the public school. Our youth meetings may not have much in the way of prayer, but we have great icebreakers, skits and games. We have plenty of medicines nowadays to help our aches and pains. What more could we ask for? Sure we miss you, but I guess we really don’t NEED you right now.I hope you’re not offended. I don’t mean for you to be. You’ll always have a special place in my memory. You were very kind and generous to me. You sure got me out of some hard times. I can’t thank you enough! Still, this is a generation now that doesn’t know you at all. Your coming would probably scare them.Remember the night when my mother sat at the piano bench and you joined her there? Remember how she wept and groaned in the Spirit and slumped to the floor during the revival service and how some tried to call the ambulance because they thought she was sick? They never knew you and her were talking. That’s what I mean. A good many never got to know you well. And most never knew you at all. Those that knew you personally have waited so long to talk to you that they are now, to say the least, embarrassed. So while we are trying to work out our feelings about you, and see where you might fit into our plans in the future, you might try your luck someplace else. Try Brazil, Ethiopia, or how about the Philippines? You might have better luck in Third World Countries, or behind the iron Curtain. You might even luck out and find someone to talk to you in some little storefront on the other side of the tracks. Surely someone somewhere needs you. We’re terribly sorry, Intercessory Prayer, we miss you, but we really don’t NEED you… right now!

Get ready and fasten your seat belts, here are some pictures

Ok here are the long awaited pictures that some of you have been asking about. I have time now that I have put the kids down for a nap. I'm not taking one b/c I actually slept good last night, and I took my diet pill. It keeps you awake and energized alllllll day long. One prob with taking it though for me, is that my brain moves faster then my mouth. So when I try to talk, my words tend to jumble up. Another one I've just noticed is that I can't type. lol My backspace key keeps being hit. Another instance where my brain is going faster. **no jokes please about my brain**

Here is logan when he was sleeping still in his crib. He wouldn't lay down unless he had his 'purse' in bed with him. Here is Ray when we were at the race in Charlotte, NC.

For someone who said he didn't like four wheeling, he really took a liking to it fast. This is when he got back from the six hour trip everyone took. I stayed behind. Was sore from the previous day of riding. lol He was sooo dirty and nasty. But he had a great time.

Here is a close up. I was trying to get a good picture so you could see how dusty his face was. He was sooo dirty.

Here is little Brooky. She was 2 1/2 months old here. She loves the camera. She was talking and smiling. Just beautiful!

Here is logan in his helmet and sucking on a ring pop Aunty Gigi gave him and wearing Katie's jump rope. He walked around like that for a long time.
Here is Brooky smiling big for the camera.Isn't she just beautiful! Here she is gettin ready for a nap. She is starting to try to hold her bottle.Logan getting in his pool. I had him all dressed and ready to go and let him out the door to go to the car. Well he detoured to the pool. I had to take him in and change him. It was cute, but I was aggravated too. Here is Logan man on the boat. He loves it.
Here is Brooky sitting up next to Sis Ashley from church. We were all in the camper. She has her tommy cherry onsie on. It's sooo cute.Brook at church laying on G'ma Chris's lap. She was just about to doze off. So sleepy. Here you can see my skills at taking pictures of myself! lol Logan was ready to go down the slide. He didn't want to take a picture.Brooky was sitting so good for Daddy in her car seat. She just talked and smiled to him.

Here is Ray Ray with his babies. Here are Logan and Daddy swinging at the park. I did it too, but Ray didn't take our picture.Logan sleeps in his big boy bed now. lol I took apart his crib and told him he had to stay and sleep in his other bed. So far he has done good. He is growing up so fast. Here is our little beauty queen. This was just last night, she was dressed up for church. (3 1/2 months old)Here she is with her first boyfriend from church! His name is Isaiah. We call him Zay though. He was rubbing her face. He loved her hair bow.

So there ya go, now you are up to date.

***********************************

Potty training! Ahhhh so I have decided after talking with a few moms to just put underware on Logan and let him feel himself pee. Then maybe he will stop in time and tell me he has to go potty. B/c he has been telling me after he does it. One time I heard him grunt and knew he was doing number 2 but I stopped him to put him on the potty, well he never went and it took him a few hours again to go poo. Poor kid. lol

Brooky is doing well. I'm starting her on Stage one foods. She seems to be needing more then just cereal once a day. So, I'm giving both to her. She is most definitly teething. Poor thing had a fever last night and was chewing her fingers. I had to give her some medicine. Didn't help she was so tired. She was up almost all day and she isn't used to that. She slept till 11:30 this morning and she went to bed last night around ten thirty. She was exhausted.

Well I'm hopping off here. I've got to get some more stuff done. Kids will be up soon.
