Ya I said it! Im ready for all this yuckiness to disappear (in Jesus name) lol
No joke, the ten inches, plus some was pretty for a very short time. The four inches of ice that came on top and in between the snow...was not welcomed!
I defrogged my car last night. (no frogs were hurt during the process...just melted me some ice and snow) It was a slow process.
Church was cancelled last night, was not happy about that. But hey we had yet some more snow that came our way, and lower temps so it froze everything even more.
I've been locked in the house for DAYS! Help me!!! lol No seriously...
Ray even stayed home two days, and he doesn't do that. Lets just say I got nothing done around the house but cooking three times a day.
We had sun today, but temps are soooo cold! Oh well spring is a few weeks away...like 8 or something? 7 maybe? then it will be rain rain rain and more rain.
well ive got to make breakfast for the kids and myself.Have I mentioned lately that brooky will eat anything!
Everything else, besides the weather, is super duper!

Im thrilled!
Logan did number 2 in the potty.
I was holding brook making her a bottle and told him to sit on potty till I got back, and Well he went num 2 and num 1 and then hollared and told me. I ran in there and seen sure enough he did.
(I was worried it might have been on the floor lol)
I allowed him to empty his pot into the toilet, which is a big deal and He got to also flush the toilet. Im very happy.
He today has only had one accident and that was when he was with his maw maw (rays mom) and he didn't want to quit playin at the mall play area.
Here is a pic of Logan bending over his potty sayin' "Eww mama I poopy in the potty Ewwww" lol

Potty training!
Well Its time. Past time really to start potty training Logan.
I did some research via the wonderful web, and came upon this site of a woman that had potty trained over 300 children.
She had a book you could download for seven dollars and it dealt with lots of issues you can have on potty training.
Basically you use the same words...were using pee-pee and poopy b/c that is what he says when he goes in his diapers.
I got him up this morning. Told him excitedly that he gets to wear his 'big boy' panties he says lol and no diapers.
I took him to the potty and he sat there.
Sometimes it is hard to keep the child interested, especially if they were watching a cartoon and wanting to get back to it. So I got him a book and that helped keep him on the potty a little longer.
Im cutting down on his liquids b/c the kids can drink.
Im taking him to the potty every 20-30 mins.
So far we have only had one accident in little over an hour.
If you keep up within 3 days your child should be pretty much potty trained.
One thing the book said is that you need to set the time out and concentrate solely on potty training your child. Make it fun, but be consistent.
Will let ya know how it goes. Im lookin' for signs that he has to go to the potty. and the first time he goes on the potty, he won't know what to think cuz I'm going to make such a big deal about it.
Oh and it did say it's better to make the boys sit down on potty to train them. It's easier. When they have better control then you can start teaching them to stand up to go pee-pee.
Well it's time for a potty break.

A new year...a new post!
Yes, I've been awful at keeping up with blogging as of late.
Alot has been going on.
The church Christmas play and all that was involved with that.
Church services.
Christmas and all that goes with that.
Sickness...a major virus that had me down for the count for a week.
No joke it was awful. Included a 105 fever, throwing up...running to the bathroom multiple times...get the pic...it was bad!
Oh and a trip to the ER b/c I was so dehydrated had to get some fluids pumped in me b/c I couldn't hold any down.I missed Sunday night service, to which i was very upset. I heard it was great.
We had a watch night service Wed night to bring in the new year. It really is an awesome way to bring the year in. Foot washing, some preaching/teaching, communion. The kids (my kids too) took communion. It was so sweet. God is so good ya'll.
After that service we went to a 24 hour place to grab something to eat. I just ate a few french fries b/c I was still pretty sick.
Hubby was at a party and staying the night there. I got Logan to bed at four and brooky was up all night sick. Either she was too full (very poss b/c she can eat) or the soup I had given her didn't agree with her belly. So I was up all night, up all the next day except for a small, very small, nap I took while ray let the kids scream and hollar, or in his words, watching the kids for me so I could rest. Ha!
We had church last night and I had very little sleep and still wasn't feeling well at all. I got the kids ready for church though and we went.
I love going to church and hearing the word preached and just having church.
B/c I went and didn't feel like it, God touched my body! I was even able to eat pizza afterwards with NO problems. I haven't been sick or anything. I didn't sit down from the praise team, I didn't sit in my pew and not worship. I sang with all I could, and praised with all I could. God honored that and I'm SO THANKFUL. I was told by the doctors that I could be sick for another five days lol. Not something I was lookin' forward to.
Christmas this year was mostly about the kids. They enjoyed it very much. My hubby got me a pretty special camera. I'm still reading the book on it. It takes awesome pics and the zoom is 18x. amazing!
Well I hope your holiday season was great.
